I love my job.
A little girl who is a huge Dale Jr. fan and is wheel chair bound sent me the picture of she and I at the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony of the Dale Jr Corral and Amphitheater at Victory Junction Gang Camp from March of 2010. I met she and her grandfather and helped them to get a picture with Dale Jr. They were such a nice family and I was so moved when I opened their letter because with as many letters as I open that are addressed to Dale Jr or the Foundation weekly, I have never once received a letter addressed to me with my picture enclosed. It was so sweet and I have the photo hanging next to me at work so that I can remember that what I do actually makes an impact on so many fans. It's a great reminder even on those hardest days.
