$5 for a pack of 24 bands...these are the latest kids craze! I suppose they could compare to friendship bracelets or slap bracelets! I learned about Silly Bandz while working the race this past weekend. It seems as though kids these days are trading these bracelets in school. Our volunteers filled me in on the different types of bands you could get, rock band, mermaids, jungle animals, etc. When they are on your wrist you wouldn't even know they were an intended shape but when you take them off, they form something cool! One of our volunteers gave me this purple dog that is pictured above, cute! I feel like i am totally "in" now! Haha.

Silly Bandz

Oh gosh Emily! I actually had to ban these from my classroom. My kids would come in with like 100 of them up and down their arms. They would pay more attention to trading them than anything else.
