Holy moly! I watched the first season of True Detective this past weekend - and it left me feeling, uh, dark. It takes awhile to get into it but with two good actors it's gonna be a good show! Their obviously detectives and Matthew is a weirdo but only because he is so smart that no one can understand him. Woody is a cheating husband riding on Matthew's coattails but making him look good all the same. The show goes back and forth through different periods of times in their lives at partners and they solely focus on one killer who is targeting girls on the bayous of Louisiana. Watch it - but only if you can get yourself out of an creepy feeling rut!
