Whale

So i had a seriously RUDE awakening this week. Welp, I'm fat. This picture is of me March 2011. I WAS on phentramine at the time BUT that is beside the point because I am most definitely at a healthy weight of 132.

Now this photo is of me this week. Holy whale at (have not weighed myself lately) a weight of 150. I cried when I saw the photos from the engagement party. Even worse, I asked my friend if I could go in and DELETE fat photos of myself. Pathetic!!!! Side NoteL I will post other photos as my book club through one awesome fiesta for our friends Merris (center) and Todd (obviously not pictured lol). So now, it's time to get serious. No more lolligagging around. I have GOT to lose weight. I joined a gym so thats a CHECK off the list. I was going every day until we went on vacation so i have to get back into the groove again. I would post pics from our vaca but honestly, we barely took any. I am on weight watchers but have not been good about keeping track of everything. This morning I tracked my breakfast and it was 11 points. @#*&$*(*(# So that was another rude awakening. I am blowing all my points on breakfast - not cool. So that has got to change. So many changes need to be made and they need to start today.

  1. Don't delete your photos just because you don't like the way you look in them! If nothing else, hold on to them for your memories. There's better ways to handle the feelings of frustration and disappointment.

If you're serious about making changes, I'd take a look not only at what you eat, but why you eat. I mean, we all know what you need to do to lose weight, but actually doing it always seems to be a different story! Our underlying needs are fighting with our willpower, and until you address the needs, your willpower can't win.

Take a look at the video in my link; it goes over these needs, the bad habits we develop, and how we can replace them with healthier ones. It's not that long, and you might find it interesting.

Best of luck, no matter what you wind up doing! I know you can totally do this. :)
