OMG.
So now what? No cheese? No soy chai lattes? No bread of any kind? And the worst part is, it's way more limiting than just this!
How did this happen? Well it's a long story but it stems from a digestive/constipation issue. And my body just built up an intolerance for these foods.
So I have to take a ton of supplements and avoid these items AND alcohol. Basically I have to rebuild my eating habits and become a professional ingredient reader in the grocery store.
Several of you wrote me to ask about my experience and I do totally recommend seeing a Naturopathic Doctor, especially if you aren't getting the answers you want from your physician. Naturopathic Doctors don't just kick you out the door with a prescription... they give you supplements and help you in the natural way to live a better life. My appointments are an hour and thirty minutes and it is great one on one time with the doctor. Because it is not covered by health insurance, it's expensive... not so much the appointment itself but the supplements can be costly. So fair warning before you step into your first appointment. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask away...
Awe bummer :( sorry to hear about this but I'm so glad you found answers!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Me too!!
