The art of racing in the rain

While waiting for Santa to deliver my next Hunger Games book, I am reading The Art of Racing in the Rain. I had heard it was a good read. It is told from a dog's perspective so I'd you have a dog, you will love this book. The owner is a race car driver, not a big timer but does it for fun and is also a mechanic. He is married and has a little girl. So far it is about their journey as a family from the dogs perspective. And they have some terrible things happen that they have to get through which the dog describes very well. It's a great read, another fast one.
