Dave and I think that the New Years parties downtown where you pay $60 for drinks and food all night are just completely over-rated and a waste of time and money. SO, what we prefer to do is to get our friends together for a mountain house weekend. I have to tell you, my best new years have just begun because having friends together to celebrate by playing wii.... cornhole.....and taboo... provides lots of good laughs, fun times and great memories!If you don't have access to a mountain house and want to do this next year... get your friends together and rent a mountain house for a long weekend. You can ski, shop, or just sit by the fire with a cup of cocoa. Give it a try!
