So when I was Googling information about NC Marriage Licenses I found this bit of creepiness...

Cousin Marriages:

Yes. However, if you two have a closer relationship than being first cousins, you may not marry in North Carolina.



so you CAN marry you 2nd or 3rd cousin in NC....ummmm....?
